Deputy CM buttonholed over pension

Kamareddy (Nizamabad): Old women confronted deputy chief minister Damodar Raja Narasimha at the Rachabanda programme here on Saturday and complained that they were not getting their benefits like pensions, houses and others meant for the poor and the aged.
As soon as district collector D Varaprasad started his speech, some of the women were on their feet and grilled the dignitaries occupying the dais, including the deputy CM. They did not heed the repeated requests of former minister Mohammed Shabbir Ali as well as the collector to calm down.
