Indian Navy invites Applications from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor - Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 2/2012 Batch. Course Commencing August 2012.
Educational Qualifications : Qualified in 10+2/ equivalent examination withMaths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects; Chemistry/Biology/Computer science.
Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
Pay & Allowances:
• During the initial training period, stipend ofRs. 5700/pmwill be admissible but on
successful completion of initial training an amount equal to theminimumof scale
asmentionedbelow, less stipend already paid, shall be admissiblewith retrospective
effect.
• On completion of initial training, theywill be placed in thePayBandRs.5200-20200.
In addition theywill be paidGradePay@Rs.2000/- plusMSP@Rs. 2000/- plusDA.
Age : Candidates to be born between 01 August 1991 to 31 July 1995; both dates inclusive)
